Coemar, lights for stars
The most prestigious concerts and international music idols are illuminated by the famous Italian company
Castel Goffredo (Mantua) April 12th 2010. The lights illuminating the stages of the most prestigious international musical performances are “made in Italy”. Coemar, world leader in manufacturing lighting equipment for the entertainment industry, supplied its products to some of the greatest concerts last year. At the end of January the weekly Billboard Magazine ranked these concerts amongst the Top Ten Tours of 2009. Just under a month later Coemar was also present at the ”Lo Nuestro Awards” organised by the American television network Univision dedicated to Latin music.
The Infinity Wash XL projectors bathed the concerts of AC/DC, Pink and Tina Turner in unparalleled light: each projector supplies 1400 W of power and incorporates a 5°- 84° zoom transforming the raw energy of these famous performers into light ! Wash XL is the most powerful moving head projector in the Infinity family and is ideal for illuminating large areas; its patented animated effects make all the difference to a performance providing exceptional lighting effects whilst the patented CMY colour system can reproduce any colour in the spectrum.
The emotional performances of Billy Joel & Elton John were emphasised by Coemar’s ParLite Led lights; the first, original LED par which revolutionised the lighting industry. ParLite is in fact a compact, fully integrated projector having its own internal autonomous power supply; one single compact system replaces the need to have a separate dimmer, scroller, par and strobe. Thanks to LED technology ParLite consumes 36 W compared to 500 W for a traditional system; it does not generate heat and its output is similar but in terms of colour it is most certainly superior. It can last up to 50,000 hours compared to an average of 200 for halogen lamps.
At the Lo Nuestro Awards Laura Pausini won the award for Best Female Artist in the Pop category and the evening was also an exhilarating triumph for Coemar lights: once again the Infinity line in the XL and S categories (90 Wash XL, 54 ACL S, 64 Spot S and 40 Wash S were used) flooded the performances with light and special effects. 120 ParLite Led lights combined the three primary colours to create the multicoloured setting.
